Le procédé de fabrication des sièges Greyhound diffère de la norme appliquée par divers fabricants de sièges. Ils sont moulés par injection et non fabriqués par stratification. Les sièges bénéficient ainsi de propriétés de déformation nettement supérieures. Celles-ci ont un effet positif sur le comportement routier du kart.

Le modèle Standard est destiné aux pilotes professionnels et aux pilotes amateurs ambitieux qui recherchent un siège léger (environ 1,34 kg) à un prix attractif.
Le siège Standard présente un degré de dureté « normal ». Il fonctionne bien sur des châssis équilibrés qui offrent déjà un bon niveau d’adhérence.

Il est également bien adapté pour réduire légèrement l'adhérence par temps chaud et lorsque la piste offre une forte adhérence.
